I've got a week off this week, which means a little time to make some pocket money. A couple of little jobs for a local farmer...

 

Aspen by the dog kennel - Take down to ground level.

Silver birch - 30% (ish) crown reduction.

 

Both trees all done with a Silky (except for the felling & logging of the Aspen)

I was two-thirds the way through the Birch when the farmers wife came out and said 'actually John, I'd prefer if you look it out completely'. There was no-chuffing way I was going to take it down after fiddling around with Silky, so its staying for now....

 

I was working on my own with no grounds-man, so if the Birch looks odd - that’s why. (there was no-way I was going back up, too much MEWP work I guess!)

 

I’m terrible on pricing private work and suggestions would be gratefully received. (All brash stacked and left on site)

 

....and if you can guess what the farmer had is his garage, I'll buy you drinks all day at the AA show! :001_smile:
