It would break down all the time the heater would be crap and the doors would not shut properly. If you must have an impractical vehicle with rock hard pram springs on the back Toyota make a proper one.

:confused1: The heater in mine is outstanding, they are on air, not springs.

 

The main problem would be fuel consumption and payload, the Disco 3/4 is the heaviest motor landrover has ever built.

I have a Toyota, the heater is crap, lights keep falling out, doesn't start and the doors held on with a strap till I get round to fixing it. Should have bought another landy...

Once landrover drop the defender type vehicle I will not get another,they are trying to sell to the bling bling brigade,& loosing their way imo.

They founded the brand on solid work vehicles,& are now targeting another sector of the market that is more interested in the image than the working vehicle,big long term mistake.

 

Here here, they need to/keep to there roots. A working truck that's does what it says on the tin.
