shows me that farmers are generlly lacking upstairs, i read about 5 cases of them not applying parking brake on telehandler's and tractors and having them roll and crush them against feed bins and barns and stuff, also someone tipped a tipping trailer up then proceeded to disconnect one of the hydraulic pipes under the raised body...No need to say what happened next.

Personally IMO you are lacking upstairs, in making statements about others with out knowing the full facts.

That is a generalisation, with out knowing any of the full facts, you obviously, jump to conclusions.

Be carefull that is when accidents do happen

On page 51 theres an interesting bit about non-fatal injuries, it seems that not many self employed peeps list there accidents :sneaky2:

Either that or employee's are very very careless:scared1:

good point there seems self employed have more deaths ect but only the employed have reportable accidents but i would say most self employed would either not know what riddor was or were too frightened to tell them whereas employed folk especially large firms and LA will report through riddor

Yes, i notice that more accidents occur after 6pm than during any other single time slot.

Yeah the nature of an accident means you don;t see it coming, but i read several cases which semed to be pure stupidity liek the tipper maintenence..and I have worked with countless bit sof plant nd tractors etc with no hand brake, or even brakes at all in some cases and don't let them roll away when i'm not looking. My family know alot of farmers, it was slightly tongue in cheek, but you know they were probably trying to save wear on the parking brake pads:001_tongue:
