RIP! She had balls of steel and the gumption to stand up for what she believed in, right or not! Shame there arnt more people like her running the government!

I'm a Durham lad and went to the Miners Gala every year for most of my life..saw some pit men reduced to broken men during the course of the miner's strike and felt sad after each mine closed....

As for maggie.

 

She was a strong leader who made the decisions many a labour union guided government had ducked. No one since has had that kind of resolve to do what they feel is right despite press influences
