As i understand, i didnt make it up, a very small number, maybe 10 per major supplier, have been released for sale in uk so far. Obviously the top customers have had first refusal. If they have done the modifications they suggest it may just be worth a go. Plenty more will arrive within next year. I do not have access to one but have had a go and it is probably better that 201 in tree but longevity may be an issue.

I just got a phone call to say I will have 10 delivered to me tomorrow, I have 7 deposits paid already. I asked the store man did he say he see them with his own eyes and he Confirmed they are sitting beside him ready to ship to me today, happy days!!!

i assume the small scale, low fanfare release is just in case there are issues and a glut of warranty repairs. if the t540 has as many issues in the first year as say the 560, then it wont do much for peoples confidence in the saw, or husqvarna.

 

fingers crossed they have sorted the autotune's lack of reliability when used in the stop-start nature of arb work.
