Meindl airstreams and cold feet

Been wearing Haix boots for the last 10 years or so and changed to a pair of meindl airstreams about 6 months ago. I found through this winter that I suffered cold feet regularly in them even when it wasn't that cold (which i rarely did in the haix). I have spoken to a couple of other people who have airstreams and they say they have the same problem. Has anybody else found this with the airstreams, or is it just me being a poof??
