I have a nissan cabstar on 52 plate E95.It was running well but few weeks before i was on the moterway that it had lost its power but the engine was running. while there if now power if I switch off the ignition and start again the engine regains its power.

The other problem that i have with it is that I have changed the gearbox. The gearbox i have replaced, is an import and needed some alterations. The gaerbox i have replaced had not crank sensor fitted on it so i took off the sensor off my faulty gearbox and drilled a hole on the new gearbox and fitted on it.

After putting back every thing when I start the engine it starts for 5 seconds and turns off again with the higher revalution then normal.

I do not know how to fix it.

if you know the problem please help me.

I think I smell spam cooking. 1st post and asking about a cabstar related problem with a user name of ukcarrecovererydotcom.

Couldn’t agree more, I mean, an arborists forum......... where else would you find detailed diagnostic expertise on a vehicle problem:laugh1:
