560 XP is it just me?

Take it back to husky and say you want it updated to a newer one as it must be one of the dodgy ones.

 

I did and they are not interested. They are poor at customer relations. I got a 362 Stihl but its not very nice really. I just wish I could get a hold of a couple of 346xp silver side case ones.

Worked with a guy about a month ago, who'd had his about 3mths. It had serious oiling problems. It was fine, as long as he wasn't actually cutting. I've seen less smoke at a fireworks display. Eventually, I saw him emerge from thick brush, right after the hand propelled saw had landed some 3.5m away. He wasn't a happy camper at that point.

Mine is also a nov -2011 saw

 

Had no probs with it , but they did replace the feulcap and startinglid under warrenty and i could keep the orginal parts wich is a big +.

The day of reckoning is getting close Rich - I trust you have some pretty hot 60cc Stihls handy as you have three ported 357XPs and a 560XP in standard trim to beat at the next boys day out.

 

I have one last trick to do on my 357 and hope it will batter the 560XP in to submission this time - only 0.4 secs off on three cuts last time:lol:

 

Burrells one was pretty much keeping up with a MS660 on a 25" bar last time I spoke to him........good luck:thumbup:

 

We will see mate... My 560 seems to get better, I've ran martins trick 357 you did and it was quick!! But the auto tune is good once its warmed to the air temps ... No probs with mine apart from a 1 side casing under warranty.

We will have to organise one definitely soon.

If you got a 2011 one , as I have , you should be able get an updated carb , an updated starter pull , an updated coil . Mine performs faultlessly . You are right about the decomp popping out under compression only . Can't really help that . Mine on hot start needs ONE pump of primer only .

I use my 560 day in day out and I've had no problems with it , two pumps on the primer hot and it's away every time , only thing I've had is a chain that broke and I can't blame that on the saw .

ive got on of the 2013 560xp and run like a dream,the boss has one 560 and 550xp and seem vey please,apart for stilh chainsaw trouser and top handle i wont by it unless it husqvrana
