Comic relief, I hate it!

I'm on my 4th text of the night, keep watching the VT's. crying and then texting. Not too sure how any one could watch the footage and be compelled to do any thing different. For me these events really started to hit home when I had children.

We're moaning a lot here about business, under-cutting and such, but I'm sure the vast majority of us can still afford to put food on the table etc etc. It's my opinion of course but life can change so fast, certain things are out of our control, any one of us could find our selves on need of help at some point. My ethos is give what you can, when you can.

Nice one mate. Them miserable buggers slagging this thread should go and see these kids dying first hand and then see if there quick to slag comic relief.

Me and my two son's (15 and 16) worked on saturday, it was cold a and wet, we were clearing and burning Holly.

 

We were tired, wet and muddy, my sons were commenting on how nice it would be to get home to a warm home and hot meal.

 

I agreed and said how lucky we are to live where we do and as well as we do, I asked them to spare a thought for people in poor countries, who are scavenging on tips to feed their starving family.

 

How anyone can moan about those who are trying to just do something is quite beyond me.
