Felled ash trees stolen from Milton Abbas | This is Dorset

I knew where all the wood was stacked and there was a mountain of it.

Would have needed atleast 2 arctics to take it away as there was some hefty lumps in there.

Out of curiousity - were the logs near a made road? gravel track? gated? locked? in short - how long would it take them to load two artics? you can't make a quick get away in a lorry.

It seems quite a lot of risk for not a lot of gain?

The paddock was just off the main road down a track which was locked with two chains and two padlocks on forestry gates. They must have either been very quick or very organised to do that job.
