I can't comment on the 261, but the 260 was a bad saw.

I find Stihls easier to work on, but I'd lean towards the Husky, 346, 550 or 560.

Makita's are worth a look at, not as main stream as the orange 2, but they are worth considering. Quite a few have them on here including myself.

 

Theres only one orange brand worth looking at 😜lol

If you want one saw to do everything, then a 560's probably the way to go.

 

All depends on what you think you'll be doing mostly really.
