High scale it's not the line where the brown dirt is that's a light defect its the top corner of the cut out, just incase you was seeing it wrong.:-)

What rope you running desertrat? How often are you climbing on it? I thought mine was fine until I had a big

Climb today with long descents.

Another thing to add it seems us guys running 11-11.5 seem to be having the problems. I think if you run 12+ your rope diameter won't cut into the groves like a thin rope.

Xtc fire 13mm , marlo 11mm and P.ivy 11.7.

Ive mainly used the P.ivy and longest ascent/decent on average would of been 60'

Stick with the pi and keep us updated.i think as the weeks go on more and more people will be complaining, we need to build a case on here.

Yes of course bud and remember its rated 11.5-13mm only lol. Which i guess they might point out and not replace the zz bud

I heard a rumour before release that it had done this to a rope at a show when people where testing it. I had a look today and the rack indents where the rope runs threw do have a sharp edge to them , maybe a simple fix of filling the edge off would eliminate the rope wear. Just a thought

 

Its still being talked about peoples ropes towards the smaller dia are getting high wear.
