Fathers friend had a Lab in the 70's named after a famous head ache powder it chewed as a pup !

The amount of folks who bent down and spoke to it after being told its name was priceless...

Can you guess the name of famous headache powder ?

I prefer two-tone 2 syllable names to roll off the tongue when calling them back in, up the forested moss, where they could be some considearble distance away among trees distracted by a scent.

PONG-GOoooo (was named Pongo)

BOOG-OHoooo ( was named Hugo)

POP-SEEeeee (was named Princess Poppy Pieface)

etc

Anyway it works.

I also have found that a name "grows" on a dog regardless of what it is christened, in our household anyway.
