7 day working so wouldn't have been an option sadly.

 

Jonesie, can you confirm there's a battery in the box when you buy the saw please? There's no mention on the page that you have to buy the battery separately. What's in the box? :001_smile:

battery seperate i would have thought. body only....

 

it would be better if there was a package deal.... saw, charger and x2 batteries

Think I asked this on the thread introducing the back-handle version: what's the warranty like, and does it cover the battery?

 

I have a wide range of makita li-ion tools and batteries, and when the charger decides the battery is no good it'll refuse to charge it forever more, this is without any previous noticeable issues or drop in power.

When batteries are £145 they'd need to be fully covered under warranty as far as I'm concerned.
