I have one of these type pens but mine is a solid line not a dot. I think it was about 60 quid! I thought it would be good but honestly its crap in daylight! Not much use !

I got one from the local Maplins for about £10, if you have a cat or dog, point it at the floor and wiggle it. They love to chase it about. I just have to pick mine up and the cats start looking!

I believe you are right steve, i did a lot of looking before buying one and maybe got lucky, but i also believe ebay is subject to a lot of inaccuracies on many products:sneaky2:

I did see one(identical to mine) in a well know arb catalogue at £99+vat:scared1:

From what i understand 5mW is the largest legal in this country under most applications. E-bays rules stipulate maximum power rating of 1mW to be sold through them but you can find ones on there upto 500mW:scared1:

Great if you do quotes in the pitch dark otherwise a complete waste of money, got one delivered yesterday good fun in the dark for cat/dog/baby to chase tried it outside now and useless!
