you have to be very careful buying these on ebay, a lot of sellers state inaccurate readings.

 

I believe you are right steve, i did a lot of looking before buying one and maybe got lucky, but i also believe ebay is subject to a lot of inaccuracies on many products:sneaky2:

 

The best and they are amazing are from the US, see Sherrill catalogue. However they are strong and I understand illegal in this country.:ohmy:

 

I did see one(identical to mine) in a well know arb catalogue at £99+vat:scared1:

From what i understand 5mW is the largest legal in this country under most applications. E-bays rules stipulate maximum power rating of 1mW to be sold through them but you can find ones on there upto 500mW:scared1:

A tad anal, but worth looking into.

 

 

 

"The NRPB ( National Radiological Protection Board) of the UK recommended

limiting the availability of lasers to to the public. Only class 2 lasers

and lower would be allowed. (NRPB) This is now the current law in the UK."
