  5. Just had a belt problem on my Grinder, the main cutter head drive belts slipped, i re fitted them but one seemed to be slightly longer than the other, instead of stopping in the middle of a job i tried to continue grinding, bad idea, both drive belts flew off and snapped in the process destroying the drive belt from the hydraulic motor! My problem is that without an owners manual i have only a few bits of belt left without any indication of numbers. So is anyone out there familiar with this model and can they supply me with the relevant seriel numbers for replacement belts. Cheers.

  12. Tried some old ski goggles which work until the rain gets them and the sawdust sticks to them so vision is obscured, just do what I do and shut your eyes!!!!! or there are some mesh goggles on the market if you dont mind looking like a fly.
  13. After the Storms in 05 Insurance sharks/companys would not insure unless excess of silly money where in place and even then the policys where ridiculously priced. A lot of people in this area have no insurance for flood, please keep that in mind, Ive been into Cockermouth (5 Miles away) this morning looks like a war zone, The clean up for many homes and shops cant be started yet. Thanks to all who are offering support it makes life a bit more bearable for all the displaced people.
  14. I live 5 miles from Cockermouth, and the situation is really bad. The emergency services are flat out dealing with everything, If you did come up to have fun! in the rivers you would probably get stoned by the locals, people have lost every thing for the second time, emotions are running very high here please stay put and pray that no more lives are lost in the next few days (more rain expected)
  15. Just wondering about the best method for cleaning my helmet starting to become a bit wiffy............

  18. Thanks for call Mark sorry I havnt been in touch, really looking at a machine thats over 17m if possible obviously price is a consideration, but 12m probably too small unless at a bargain basement cost!

  19. Great if you do quotes in the pitch dark otherwise a complete waste of money, got one delivered yesterday good fun in the dark for cat/dog/baby to chase tried it outside now and useless!
  20. Im also lucky (or not) as Shreks we bro is, my mrs is also a Midwife so there is no embarresment involved in the sex ed, My eldest daughter is 11 going on 15 and in my opinion should be aware of these facts from us here Parents and not her mates from school. We are only trying to do our best for our kids so they dont make mistakes in lifes choices. (If in doubt chase all boys from property with 066)
  21. Thats a give away at that price, you should easily make that back in a day or two grinding if you are charging correctly. As to not doing much grinding, just start selling that service as you quote, doesnt take long for things to start rolling. Or buy it and advertise on here/earborist/ebay and im sure you will turn a quick profit.
  22. Also dont point it at passing military jets, they will automatically lock on to you as a legitimate target and you may get toasted!
  23. Take a look in the classifieds, I have a U900 with Atlas lifting arm on the back, its a quick release set up so is interchangable with other Mog specific backs (also have a alloy sided tipping body to fit) I tow a bolstered timber trailer behind and find it really helpfull on big jobs. The whole set up is for sale on here at £10k worth a look! Im happy to demonstrate if required.
  24. Ok could save me some money, but why?
  25. Looking to purchace a second hand machine, have experience with Teupen and small Easylift but could do with some advice.
