not a full time basis like a subbie. able to pay into bank and have tickets (basic)

i have had people in for me in the past who' ve had no tickets, its good to have a labourer but it doesnt take any work load off me when it comes to saw work...

colleges or anywhere else to check?

Being able to leave the phone alone while the brash piles up.....

Being able to understand what the climber wants or needs....

Being able to just bust a job out and go home rather than drag it out...

Being able to turn up on time....

I have worked for 7 years on the ground and I don't think I have missed a beat on the ground, well I hope not but I'm sure d a tree surgeons can say if I have or not.

Too true ELG. I have worked for a less than appritiative boss before and I couldn't wait to quit the job. It meant my work although to a high standard took me longer to complete. Not in arb by the way.

A good boss means good workers. Man management plays a huge part in getting the most from a work force.

Perfect! Have a really good dragger at the mo, with tickets, but after six years together at a firm and six months out on my own with him, I still just treat everyday like his first!

Always on time and a good worker, forget anything remotely technical tho!

I'm self employed - generally working for other people.

My work ethic is

Always Punctual

Always Polite

Get on with the job

If I've nowt to do - Ask - If theres nobody to ask - Tidy up!

Phone stays in the car unless I'm lone working.

I've got no chainsaw tickets - but have quite a lot of experience working with machines from 12" to 36"

I own 15 Chainsaws...

I can drive anything you want, skid steer loader, telehandler, >200hp tractor and trailer, Mini digger, dumper, MEWP

I hold IPAF tickets for boom lifts, LANTRA for Counterbalance FLT and a Trailer license.

Did I mention I've 10 years experience repairing 2 stroke and 4 stroke small engines, Mowers, Ride on mowers, strimmers, chainsaws and hedgecutters, along with being trained by Stihl, Mountfield, Hayter, Briggs and Stratton and Husqvarna in this role...

Its a real shame I'm flat out working for farmers at the moment - I'd like a go in the arb business.
