Mr Sky at Night, Sir Patrick Moore, has passed at the ripe old age of 89. I'm sure the stargazer is now up with the stars looking down

Aye very sad news. Loss of a legend but at least he had a long and interesting life. Inspired people and educated a lot of us.

Shared his eccentricity with us all.

 

I feel like he is part of the family. Tears spilled for him and will always smile thinking of his game show days where he would answer kids Q on video games (y)

89 is a hell of an innings, not really a sad thing at that age, not only did he have lots of years in his life, he had lots of life in his year.
