I like the log splitter and although you can move it about its a bit of a pain to try and balance it and drag it at the same time. My biggest isue was getting it on the trailer by myself. I could just about manage it with an almighty effort. Well as we finished early today my illustrious brother welded up a bracket and wheels so I can now push it about with ease and pull it on the trailer no bother at all! Yes!

One of our clients has split around 80 ton on a splitter like this i was impressed to say the least and I'm use to using commercial grade stuff.

Tell your brother he did a nice job on the wheel set, its not always about how big something is, but more the detail. Moving those little splitters really is a barstood, they may look like there's nothing to them, but it's not till you try and move one that you can appreciate any little improvements that may help. :thumbup1:
