I was all excited about the CF Geckos I ordered until I wore then a few times and they hurt my calves. I sold them and went back to my caddy pads. IMO, the CFG's aren't designed right, with too much of the frame going to the BACK (where you DON'T freaking need it) of the calf and not enough (where it NEEDS to be) going around the front of the calf. If you look at them you can easily see that. Not for me. Plus, I can't imagine how they'll look after a year or so of use. They attract scratches like chainsaws attract thieves.

 

The Caddys are best and the velcro wrap-arounds are second best, IMO.

, i didnt go for the carbon fibre because they arent adjustable.

the second ones you have there look good, i like the way the shaft is held into the top strap, the bashlins get loose and move about digging in.

hopefully have new gekos on wednesday so will let you guys know how it goes.
