A 6t strop!

 

Ive seen chains slip on all sorts of materials they should of at least put a double wrap on the chain with a bite on the opposite side to the hook.

 

Do you really think those guys need advice on what they are doing????????

 

I use strops, but TBH its mainly because chains are not good to handle in our cold climate, if I lived in a warm country I may well use them more.

 

I have seen strops slip, surly its about test pulling before the cut, to check the strop or chain is secure, thats what I do :001_smile:
