Anyone know how it compares to the SJ in regards to ease of use and set up, precision etc? Couldn't see the point in buying it if you already have either a SJ or LJ.

I can, one reason being It won't be as close to you as a sj would so you can use your arm for balance like you would do with a hitch while releasing yaself. Also I find with the sj when the line is deflected I struggle releasing myself where as the zigzag has the built in pulley.

We will be taking pre-orders for them as I think they are going to sell out as soon as they arrive. If you want to order one please let me know by email so I can keep all your details in a ZIG ZAG folder.:001_smile: As soon as they arrive we will contact you.

How much are they going to be and have you any ideas as to when they will be available?

be interesting to see if its got the same preciseness as a hitch. i think tiny movements or big leaps and stopping gradually might be hard. and probs more down to the gloves on the rope to similar to spiderjack.

I had a little go on one at the swiss comp and worked pretty nicely, self tended well but not quite as good as a spiderjack. i think the key is finding the perfect rope to match it, would be very important. and properly worth knowing, as maybe you have to buy a new rope to go with it. otherwise maybe be a waste kinda like spiderjack on anything bigger than 12mm.

Just a thought tho....

Mog

So would you think a 10mm be ok?

i say it will be 11mm to 13mm, just a guess. but 10mm is too small for your hands anyways. i struggle with 11mm without gloves. i climb on 11.5mm tachyon and it perfect.

Lol i believe my hands are normal and have been climbing on 10mm for 2 yrs now😜

Anyways

Jonesie i forgot to ask.... Are you offering say a 10% discount for the first 50-100 lads that pre-order and pay for the zigzag 😉
