1.
Hi Joe, quick question, do you recommend the petal am'D with the spiderjack dyneema conversion. Apologies in advance if you have answered this a thousand times.

2. Does anyone know of a triple lock HMS carabiner with a barrel that fits through the eye on a small DMM swivel.

New shoes

Hap Johnson, if only I was that good.
4. Worked a lot in Frankfurt over the last ten years. It's good work, can be quite intense at times. Better pay then the uk. There seems to be a demand for climbers at the moment.
5. Just started using a length, seems very good for the price. 10.6mm seems ok for access, not so sure about the RW. I,ll be using it more over the next 3 weeks, will keep you posted.
6. Do you use dynastat as an ascent line aswell as a lanyard. If so, how do you rate it. Been thinking about replacing my snakebite with some from freeworker. I got to use a workmates recently and was impressed.
7. That sounds interesting Marcus. How much?
8. Recently started using the ART positioner, its a great bit of kit. Can be a bit jumpy on single line though.
9. Pinto Rigs are great re-direct pulleys unless your going big.
10. snakebite is anything but bouncy. I,ve used it for a few years now, on my second rope. Its a great access line, very tough and easy to get hold of in UK.
11. I,m not a great fan. Here is one we tackled recently, turned out to be hollow.
12. You can buy snakebite from vermeer uk or what ever they are called now, could be B-Trac. They import sherrill kit and didn,t charge for postage when i used them. It is not CE marked as far as I know. It is a great rope though. If you want to use Globe and footlock, check out CELOCK.
13. I,ve been thinking about getting one since I first saw it. looks like a great idea. I could live without the snap though. How are you finding yours Steve?
14. Is the upgraded technical stretch air fabric used to make pfanner,s new climbing trousers aswell?
15. Thanks for the replies guys, some great ideas and advice.
16. The tree was windthrown and had 2 large lateral roots on the tension side still intact. We wobbled the tree with a rope to see how firm it was, it seemed relatively stable or as stable as a tree like that could be. I then climbed up as far as I dared and dismantled the crown.
17. Says the man hanging from a roof without a harness. It had happened a few days earlier and the cross means fell.
18. Would you climb this? The tree was originally bigger, too big to be felled in one without damaging a metal fence and a platform was not availiable.
19. does anyone know where you can preorder one from and how much they cost? Seems like a good idea. Shame its not made out of carbon fibre, that would be very bling.
20. Are you sure about this Adam?
21. Thanks Adam, sounds like a very well thought out gizmo.
22. Does anyone know if the cams can be replaced when they inevitably ware out?
23. Why don,t you ask them what they are interested in learning. Sorry if this sounds sarcastic, its not meant to.
24. On my second sterling HTP snakebite. Great rope, no stretch, wears well and costs a lot less the an AP access line.
