Nice subby day, big oak with a conservatory, tile roof and green house on 3 sides of it. The lad is planning to get the cs100 up the front steps and through the house, or drag brash through garage. Lost the light at end of day so stem remains. 20181116_144441.jpeg20181116_144446.jpeg20181116_144452.jpeg

A few pictures from this week. Craning down an Oak that had been previously hacked and removing a knackered Beech using a 33m tracked MEWP. 38db13b5-086e-4204-ae74-848afbe5afdb.jpga441d328-80f4-42fd-9e8f-95f5cb054315.jpgIMG_9091.jpgIMG_9099.jpgIMG_9078.jpg

I'm jealous of your toys. Especially the land cruiser. Really noticing my 2.4 na in the hilux with chipper and full load of late.

Looked a fair size that Bill.
Worst thing with those situations is you need to think about where the little bit of timber from the gob goes.
CRAAAASSSSHHHHHH!
Aye had to cut quite a few within a hairs breadth and pick them out by hand. Also beware of the tiny bits of dead wood on tips. Thankfully managed not to twat anything.

Not a problem for me, obviously.

Directional cuts are for college ponces.

I just back cut everything with the lean using a blunt saw from my ladders and the tearing usually limits property damage.
