Your being watched in the 3rd and 4th picture.

 

Just a question. Why didn't you just fell it? I mean I've had it before when there worried about Tarmac damage. So it's been a dismantle.

 

 

When I first quoted they stated that they wanted it climbed and not felled in the car park as they don't actually own the car park itself! It was the builders renovating the restaurant! We arrived at 6:30pm and left at 8:15pm! Very smooth quick job!

Row of yews removed, hand balled the lot on and off the trailer....phew

 

If you stack across trailer you should be able to tip it up and stack it roughly.

That works in theory until a piece gets stuck and you have all the pressure on it from the rest of the load, but when it does work it does put a smile on your face 👍

Oh..of course Douglas..beautiful grain.Larch is also very nice.Iv'e been following your drying story...i love that we cut em down....section them..split them and season them....for heat or for creating things wood is a fantastic resource... .
