I used to take my Canon to reccy climbs like the one in Norfolk a few years back with Ian flatters..Dan Curtis and Arran Turner....i'll stick with my Phone for working pictures

When I'm too lazy to head back to the pick-up to get the big camera I'm happy to take pics with the phone.....in all honesty the pics are pretty well good enough for most uses except maybe agency stuff

 

I carry the big cameras in the pick-up every day, sure they get a bit scuffed but they can handle it. Any shots taken with them are normally a good source of extra income.

Some conifer topping for another company we sub to sometimes. The cuts are about 8-10inch diameter and we removed 30-35ft

That is a tight spot John..i definately favour the two handed cradle shot....did you hit anchorpoint in the first few?

 

 

Usually I throw one handed but there just wasn't really the space to get good height so had to adapt
