So today I got to revisit an old friend:     My first encounter was a year ago when I damn near cut through her in a cavity in the underside of an ash branch in a nature reserve.

Very smooth couple of hrs on this sycamore this morning

Took an Ash down today, cold biting wind, beach house underneath, garden lamp, and an old rickety fence to avoid, bit of smash and crash, bit of rigging.

 

Pictures are journey to site (about an hour away), work in progress, journey home. nice easy day, enjoyable little job with an efficient crew.

 

Thats an 088 with 4ft bar on the stump
