Yeah it was a horrible slope! (Glad I wasn't dragging) no it's me up tree!! Nicks out of the tree game now!!

 

could you of speed lined it?? not being funny just curios.

Prob could of but we managed to get the track chipper at the bottom of the slope and there was two of them on the ground, It worked fairly well :)

Alright mate. Don't you use cobra bracing. This saves drilling into the tree..? Cheers. :thumbup:

 

We use it when the situation suits, this tree had a 2 metre split in the trunk so we wanted to keep the limbs a stable as possible, thus making cobra not a good choice for this particular tree.

Every tree and every situation is different and not one system can be used on all trees.

I agree thats very true mate..Didn't see that from the pic. Cheers we done lots of cobra in Austria. Thanks.
