Two tirfors? What kind of a Land Rover owner are you? Old bit of rope, 4 Low, pull 'er over. Quick tidy up and home by 5 to weld in a few new patches on your chassis that rotted out since you left this morning.

No. You do need two winchin points to triangle it safely. Plus rear crossmember is 4mm 6x4 inch box section now. Wont weld that till after i dead  😋 K

I do enjoy watching videos of people winching trees over with a single line. As you said, two points so it won't rock to the side.

Slippy, slimy Syc 2m reduction. Tree was previously engulfed in ivy that had recently been severed and partly stripped. Plenty of deadwood and squirrel damage. Wasn’t much to work with in terms of growth as all decent growth points were on the last couple of feet of each limb.IMG_3828.jpgIMG_3831.jpg

Cracking job there. Not the easiest of trees to leave growth points on. Even harder to not accidentally break them after.
