We knew there was some rot at the base and made sure we lowered everything sensibly and on manageable pieces. One of those take your time jobs! I'm going back after Xmas to move all the timber and finish the butt! Thankfully got lots of old chains!

Three broken water pipes, three holes dug by hand and three joiners on the pipes.... 'twas a good day cold and wet covered in mud. Back to the workshop tomorrow...
