Are there different rules to burning in ireland as to england, as I know here you can burn on the site where the tree was removed, but not if you burn it elsewhere

 

Yeah, another member on here gave me this info regarding the rules in Britian

You can legally burn on site, so long its been cut on the site your burning on.

HOWEVER you cannot "cause a nuisance", so if a neighbour comes out and says your stinking out their washing on the line or the smoke is bother them in any other way you will soon get stopped, either by the council or plod.

 

All burning of any kind of waste material here in ireland has been outlawed with hefty fines if caught out (since 2009 I think). Authorities may turn a blind eye on Halloween night though. Silly that green waste has been lumped in with domestic and commercial waste as well though.
