Yes that's exactly what it is, all the winches in a box I looked at were plastic, and though they wouldn't last long. Also alot cheaper. Use it to pull stump grinder up ramps on to truck. 

Power is via Anderson plug,

This job could have gone very wrong very fast!

we were called to take 2 Lawson Cypress off house,  access not great

lots of planks , bit of scaffolding , ratchet straps and a very sound builder and a fair bit of patience

Taking the top off a lawson's cypress that was a little bit too close to the wires to use a throwline but not so close as to have me throw my toys out the pram, and taking a mix of 4 garden trees back "to previous cutting points", or whatever is left of their rot pockets after 15 years to be roughly equivalent.

No additional panes broken, but honestly it's in such a shit state after Eowyn that I could have happily smashed another dozen and no-one would have even noticed.

Actually yes. Mum and dad held the ladder and kicked in chocks for a few minutes each. Or I could have shouted at them over a 661 instead.
