Not at all, from last two days Alex. It's been frosty mornings, dry sunny days but a cold wind. Pretty decent for working in really. Expecting same snow as you today though.

Remarkable. You’re hardly far up the road on a meteorological scale.

Melting fast now. Was going to dash out again on skis but drizzle and meh. Fire on. Might have a bath. Best go and smash the geese water again later. Busy day.

There was two hours ago. No telling now. I go predominantly sideways. Some old alpine skis, loose/fixed heel bindings and a pair of skins I’ve never needed. I basically walk and glide with poles, can’t remember if I can skate. Sometimes clip the heels in for downs, sometimes don’t.

The Cheviots between us have a big say in these things.

Break from connie bashing this week.

Oak and an Ash dismantled hydraulically, was a busy day but not physical. In the video the section taken was 2.5t.

No Bees were alarmed during the day.

2.5t? Really?

Videos are deceiving etc but only looked maybe 30" at cut and maybe 7' long ish obv got bigger due to unions.

I must get shafted when folk buy and weigh timber from me 😆

Anyway. Bet that was awesome being on the ground and waiting for the pieces to come to sort 😎

Probably all the bees. One bee is light... 40,000 bees... less light.

For you Peds, you can have it, you'll have to pick it up 7.30am though!

Ah, shame, another one eludes me. Tomorrow morning will be day 3 of putting manners on an escaped hedgerow.
