Eventually got everything together and out with the newest machine to hit our fleet.
Made such light work of this beech which otherwise would have involved a lot of rigging over a crumbling wall and a bt line.

Taking the privet down about a foot. Using the EGO 65cm cordless hedge trimmer we bought last year for not a lot of money.

Did a great job on high speed. It was far better than my top of the range Husqvarna hedge trimmer. I was impressed and it makes work easy.

This small dead ash tree was at the top of a embankment with immovable ornaments at the bottom so cutting and chucking wasnt a option and rigging the tree off itself wasn't appropriate so we set up this light traverse system between two small ash trees at either side probably 30meter apart it's a shame the video is spoiled buy the sun

Yesterday was dismantling two sycamores with a view! 200t and 461 with a 20" bar, what a combo [emoji108]
Today is the first day of lockdown so added some much needed extra gear loops and a ring for the chainsaw lanyard on my harness, along with a gear check and saw maintenance. 1eb3e1f2c8449b5426c6a83da60e9d28.jpg4e51c7c59bb6b9d48addb324b940ac6e.jpg4e55b0d04846a533c25ee0ef24cdc1b7.jpg

Back on the man cave build last couple of days, been digging 8” of shite out all the way round the building then filling back up with some 40mm to dust stone, and whackering it down ready to lay 4” aco drains. Will post some updated pics when i take some tomoz. More building materials being delivered Monday which is a bonus with whats going on regards businesses shutting up shop temporarily. Tidied the front garden up a bit, seeing odd things starting to bud and open up, apple tree showing signs too. Birds are in and out of the bird baths in droves. Keeps the smiles and spirits up watching nature change.
Plenty to be on with [emoji847][emoji106]
