Wednesdays but better late than never

Rather compromised ash tree with a lot of very brittle deadwood over the building which had to be cut and chuck then rig the timber.

Was hardly worth chipping most of the branchwood as it smashed up so much on hitting the floor.

I was not looking forward todays job has weather forecast said 100% chance of rain so when i went out to let chickens/ducks out this morning was greeted to a lovely Sunrise .

Job went well apart from nicking my rigging line with me new Silky saw but hey ho .

A little coni also to the right of the main job and grind both stumps out, being curious of the height i drop a measure and bang on 50FT .

Lovely view across the Mersey too .

Yesterday's job. Got a bit wet. A lime that we were supposed to deadwood at a school. We did all the rest but this one had a shear crack, the roots on the tension side had lifted slightly (you can just see it on the pic). One of the roots had actually torn. Very strong gust?
