you were very lucky, 40ft is a killer as is 15ft, you must have taken a bit on the way down.

 

they do say, if you can land on your feet and try protect your head and torso, you'll survive, so you did well:biggrin:

OMG!! How lucky were you. Jumping from 10ft is bad enough,cant imagine what falling 40ft is like!! bet u thought your number was up?. Hope u heal well fella and get back on the tools Asap.
