We were at that inbetweeny period where despite needing some heat, it was quickly too warm once the fire is lit.

Mind with the pisser of a day/evening it is I will be keeping her well kindled tonight.

(and I might even light the stove as well....BOOM BOOM!)

House was showing 15 deg at lunch time. (it encourages the Mrs. to keep working)

Generally aim for 17 to 19 in the hall.

Which means between 25 and 30 in the living room:lol:

Depending on how near the fire one sits.

Would love to have a stove.

Currently caught between thinking a lot about it, but not actualy doing anything about it :001_rolleyes:

 

Need to plug up the gas pipe & change the flexi gas flue but not sure what else I need to consider doing. Any pointers ?

Fired the stove up for the first time this year seen as how it's miserable outside. That's it now, it won't be put out till end of April.

 

Kettle boiling, tea towel drying, dog taking advantage and feet warm as toast.

 

Think I'll turn off the phone and television and watch the fire
