in cornwall it is fairly easy to get a second climber , truck and chipper and own saws for £200 a day , mind you i know of at least 3 firms that suply a truck,chipper and two men with saws climbing gear etc for £270 a day !!! not even worth getting out of bed for tbh .

blimey fair play if you can get it, i don't get much more for me and my tracked chipper if im subbying out. if i was too much more theyd just hire a chipper from the local for £120 and a good groundy can be found for £80-£100.

I hear you fellas, but those prices are unsustainable long term.

 

I've been through this, and it doesn't add up at £200/day.
