We decided today that considering even td5's only get 20mpg when working hard, and I want to get into the LEZ, that a V8 conversion could be the way to go...does anyone have any idea of the mpg V8s get under working conditions, and I mean the real figures not the rose tinted ones from People trying to justify it to themselves.

Yep, get used to either poking out of parking spaces or driving up onto the kerbs to get all the way in

 

I went the other way - 130 to 90 and the 90 felt like a gocart in comparison.

Not as bad as I thought to be honest Andy had it on Tesco carpark this aft and wasn't too bad. Visibility's good too.
