You know what I love? The sound of the birds in the early morning with the patter of raindrops on the leaves when I have Friday off.

Last month I scrapped my car of two years. It failed its MOT on emissions and needed various things doing. It had served me well but this was a poignant moments I realised this would be my final vehicle I owned in this country.I got £170 scrap for it...Tax and insurance refunded.

For the last year I have spent my time perfecting my fitness routine and cycling has become a daily thing as I did when I began this thread. All my Tree work is close to my home and I get picked up at the bottom of the street but I needed to have a mobile office on two wheels now.

I'm cycling about 15 Miles everyday and that will increase bow that we are into spring. My phone runs completely on voice commands and I had heard great things about SP products.I have been using it for about 3 weeks now.I know people who have this on their mountain  bikes, motorbikes and for me on my smooth tarmac circuit it is something I can never do without now.I can have maps on split screen and talk to my Grandson or friends abroad whilst exercising. It is locked on yet releases so simply. The 3M docking port is now a permanent part of the rubber case. Its going nowhere.

Les, with  respect because believe me i have been to hell and back with alcohol and would not want to discount anyone. However, as i said in my post there are a lot of false beliefs around alcohol, alcohol may reduce stress for a while, however the flip side of that is alcohol withdrawal increases stress. People say they drink because they are depressed, alcohol is a depressant, and furthermore negates any medication for depression. People say it helps them sleep, not true, quality of sleep is worse when intoxicated, A lot of these are society beliefs, society is not always right.

This is not a criticism of you Les, it's just throwing it out there.  I can honestly assure you that if i hadn't started to listen and accept i would not be sat typing this now.

While I

respect your post, I'm not sure that's true for every one. I became a heavy drinker slowly over time. I got so I was doing at least a bottle of wine each night and some time two bottles. If I didn't drink wine, I've 3 to 6 bottles of beer. I stopped getting hangovers years ago and would sleep like a log. I started getting heartburn about a year ago. Quit coffee etc, but could get shut of the heartburn. I tried medication, but it didn't really agree with me. I went for the Endoscopy down my throat (it's very unpleasant). All is normal, other than a small hiatus hernia, which apparently are very common if you have spent much time lifting things are really a bit to heavy to lift.

I the end I decided to knock the drinking on the head, I wanted to lose some weight anyway, so thought why not. I just stopped. I will still drink on Friday nights, but not any other times. Since giving up the drink, the Heartburn has gone.

But other than this resent problem and maybe falling asleep in the chair of an evening (although I still do now, after a hard day) I can honestly say alcohol never caused me any mental health issues.

Even organised last weeks job whilst on the move.(Dismantle crown to where the tree could be safely felled into the yard).Targets-9 BT wires,a couple of roofs, chimney pot, walls etc...No chipping as the owner would organise someone to stack the branches.I agreed to do it from a Platform and use only battery power.A good chance to showcase the Amazing 161T.
