Controls are easy to use.The track levers are a better shape than the Forst for me but other than that it's as good as a TR8.

It’s a mystery to me why people go for tracked 230 (or a tracked ST6) when the larger engined version is available at only a bit more money.

 

Ii’s not like weight is an issue.

Do not own 1 but would of thought moveability a compact has something to do with it.

A mates had both 230 and 280 tracked and will be going back to the smaller 230, lighter and more nimble which can be important in domestic gardens. 

Ive a 530t and a mate a 540t, 700kg difference and he’s commented on the better maneuverability of mine.

 cant comment on tracked machines but for road tow the 230 is a class winner. 

 

Anyone can tow it being under 750kg, it's way more productive than the equivalent forst, and not miles of the 8" first.

 

If I was going tracked I'd get the biggest I could to fit in a trailer and be under 3.5t
