Well, I have to say this book I was given by my MiL is up there. Called A new Sylva, its a rewrite and modern version of John Evelyn's 1660s book on forests and trees. I've only just started reading it but so far so good. Amazing illustrations too. Anyone else read it?

Yes- bought it for myself last easter. Fantastic book. Illustrations to die for.

First Christmas as a Daddy so watching wife and little'un opening presents was best of all. Merry Christmas everyone.

That's the magic right there for sure!

My two are 7 and 4 now and so excited, old enough to realy enjoy it and young enough to still believe.

Got a wireless Bluetooth speaker so can take my music round the house without inflicting it on everyone.
