He is a narrator and reads whats in front of him. The writer is the fool.

Indeed.

The female producers questions were a lot more intelligent.

It was funny hearing her ask incredulously 'so the only thing taking your whole weight are those two little spikes?!?'

'yes maam, just those two little spikes':001_smile:

yes but they got a bit twichy when she asked about had anyone every fallen out of a tree,

also regarding the lack of air ambulance support, surely you would check that before setting of for a two hour drive into the forest or wait there all day, i know you wont earn anything unless you can get cutting, but having done heli-lifting i know how you can sit on site for two hours then suddenly the pilot decides its ok to fly, frustrating but thats how it goes, surely you would sit it out?

I just wonder how many climbers would make the grade from over here?.

I would. I have worked with a few others on arbtalk that could do that, and there are some that I have'nt seen but could lay money on them doing it. But I know a lot of climbers who could'nt, or might barely do 1 tree a day.

It takes a certain kind of climber to confidently drop big tops off in one, quickly and efficiently. Lack of the fear gene helps.

From what I've seen of UK climbers, I can think of 4 I know personally who would be competent enough to do that, and about a dozen who definitely couldnt. Saying that, so far as the falling goes, I can think of maybe the same number, and I certainly dont include myself in that figure! Its a difficult environment to work in and i'm sure stamina levels required are far higher than we need in this country.

I think your right there. Yet there was a 62 year old guy out cutting all the young guns :001_cool:

A some try to say you can't be a production climber past 40, IMO, that utter rubbish :001_tt2:
