I fixed a tipper with a spoon once! There was a bridge that carries the main power from solenoid to hydro pump and it had burnt out. An old teaspoon from under the drivers seat got put in its place when we didnt want to be shoveling at the end of a long day. It glowed red hot when the unit was tipping but lasted quite a few weeks!

I like a good bodge!

Had an old suzuki moped, must have been a good 8/9 years ago now with a bust ignition. You could start it on the kickstart but had to ram a piece of metal in to turn it off ... a spade with a wooden handle did this nicely  Being young and stupid I tried it one day with a metal handled garden fork .......... zapppp!

Let's just say it didn't get used after that, so sorry really, not a good bodge:lol:
