Sip are well made and tough but I wouldn't recommend them for climbing-They're heavy, not very stretchy and my god they are hot!

 

to be fair the sip progress are sip's answer to the stretch airs, nice and light and cheaper aswell, really nice pair of trousers

I climb in class A's and won't go back to all round protection, with common sense and awareness of the ability of a saw to twist and turn the trousers if they do hit them. You could cover yourself in chainsaw protection but that won't make up for bad work positioning. Pfanner gladiator ventilation are awesome light cool and tough

oregon get my vote but could do with a 2nd fastener on the waste like most outhers use now, but they fit well and are lasting well(so far) 6month down the line doing a mix of arb and forestry and they are a good price....
