count your lucky stars that you have a connection in the legal world, i would suggest that in such a situatio you hold off telling insurace a s the moment they have the hint of a claim they start loading your policy.

just a nightmare at least you have good records of what was done and who paid, the other thing about it is it drives home why more and more people ask for written confirmation of aceptance of quote, and one of the recomendations made to arb assosiation aproved contractors is to put on Ts and Cs that people need to understand there liabilites, what happens if heavy tree work is done and responcib
