I'm British...I'm not weak. Think of that choir singing in the pouring rain for the Queen yesterday. Thats the whole of the UK. One day it'll stop raining but we'll still be singing. Shut the door on the way out pal..

 

...In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy seeing the country and the Commonwealth celebrating the Diamond Jubilee together, whatever colour, creed or religion they are

that gig was a bit special wasn't it

The design of the stage came to life with the dark- watched the whole thing though I didn't intend to. Great mix of music from world performers- It was a celebration of our reach across the globe- not just a jingoistic / overly patriotic event which it could so easily have been- Gary Barlow - he pens some fantastic stuff (whether you like take that or not) the quality of Sing just shines through.
