just bought first new chipper ( greenmech quadchip with turn table ) , problem is have ifor williams tipper for chip pulled by mitsubishi twin cab , so only one drawbar and two things to tow . Have thought of taking pick up body of L200 and mounting chipper on pick up instead of towing it any one done this ?. Should remain under weight !

Could you not just put a Tow Ball in the front of the L200?Might be a bit tricky on round a bouts but at least you'd get all of it to the job?

😄😄 brilliant!

Or put a tow ball on the back of the trailer and tow chipper behind that.

In reality though, no body has asked why you didn't think of this first?!

Anyway, I'd flog the L200 and get a 3.5t tipper van and in the mean time give clients incentives to keep the chips ie: saving money. You save on labour so you still make your profit as you get to the next job sooner.
