Hello all,

This looks like an exellent site for anything to do with wood and its enjoyment.

I have about 5 acres of woodland and have plenty of experience in ground/ladder work but would really like to learn how to use ropes to access some really big trees for felling/thinning/etc. A good way to keep fit and (sorry to you professionals) save myself some money!

Anyone with any ideas in the west suusex area. I really dont need a full singing/dancing qualification - do I?

Thanks, Phillip

Hi there I would not recommend you trying to tackle these yoursel you could land up having a nasty accident hurting yourself or others in the process .

Learning to climb and cut trees safley requires proper training equipment and certification

All the best littletree
