16k this afternoon on my new bike. Wish I'd bought one at the beginning of summer.

 

Doesn't matter, at least you went out and got one. Now you can get some long slow miles in over the winter and be fit for next summer.....:thumbup1:

Just over 9 miles this morning. Am following a half marathon schedule aiming for 13.5 within the next 4 weeks but not entered an event yet (I like to have a goal in mind). Did my first Brutal 10k last month which was fun so may sign up for another of those for this winter.

Ran the yorkshireman off road marathon yesterday.The terrain on this event is insane with almost a 1000 m climb to the highest point in west yorkshire,rubble boulders and deep boggy moors.Made things harder still for myself by running off route which had added an extra 6 miles ! to my garmin and by the time I had crossed the finish line I had run over 32 miles, phew.

That sounds like hell of a run - well done!!

Cheers.Funny thing happened on the way home.Stopped to fill up with fuel and as I was hobbling to the checkout this old chap said 'take it easy fella i've not been too clever on ny feet this week either' !
